In recent years, photovoltaics has transformed from a niche topic into one of the fastest-growing pillars of European energy. Modern power plants now operate as smart, data-connected devices—featuring remote access, cloud management, and online monitoring.
Digitalization has brought efficiency, but it has also exposed a vulnerability: the cyber weaknesses of the inverters themselves.
This specific gap in the ecosystem led to the creation of Guardexy, the first EU-manufactured cyber protection for photovoltaics. Its development is driven by SOLSOL, the largest Czech distributor of photovoltaic technologies, and the company MaNoSens.
