Do I need Home or Home+?
Heat is part of Guardexy Control for the home and works with Home or Home+. Depending on the configuration, the solution may also include Link for local communication with supported technology. The specific setup depends on the installation.
How does Heat work with tariffs, the app and batteries?
Tariff: solar-surplus heating does not require spot pricing. A spot tariff can support scheduling grid heating during cheaper hours.
App: ALFRED.energy provides controller settings and operating information.
Battery: control distinguishes solar generation from battery energy to avoid unnecessary discharge for water heating.
Check the chosen variant: the three-phase solution requires an electrician. Self-installation guidance for the older single-phase device does not apply to it.
