What to monitor in solar operation

Monitoring helps identify operating changes, but an isolated reading does not establish their cause.

Temperatures and production

Review inverter and battery temperatures and production trends where available. Compare unusual changes with the installation’s history.

Communication and the grid

A connection loss can make current readings unavailable. Missing data does not automatically mean zero production. Grid-voltage information can also help investigate operating conditions.

The battery

Review the battery-health indicator alongside its charge level, where supported.

Available indicators depend on the equipment. For an assessment, contact us. Related readingHow to use surplus solar energy When remote diagnostics is enough
